Lisa Austin became part of the National Office Team in 2023, but her connection to Safe Families Canada began long before. Her parents, Wally and Wilda Robinson, were instrumental in launching Safe Families Canada alongside Jennifer Francis in 2012. Influenced by the heart of the ministry, Lisa has carried a longstanding appreciation for the mission and the community that shaped it.
After years of supporting from the sidelines, Lisa eagerly stepped into her role at the National Office, bringing with her a genuine enthusiasm for organization and administration. Supporting the National Team is a joy for Lisa, and she holds admiration for each staff team member and the ministry they steward across the country.
Lisa has been married to her high school sweetheart, Luke, for nearly 30 years, and together they have raised two wonderful children. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family and friends, as well as her beloved dogs and horses.
